I see it the same way. The realignment of SOCOM as a major combatant command reporting up to USD/I was extremely significant. The impact of which is lost on most. Notice Xiden admin hasn't been able to reverse any of this. It may have suborned command to the President-in-Exile.

It really sucks, because a bunch of my friends had to get vaxxed or face separation after decades of service.
