The 4th and 5th sentences:

How was the content originally received? Email?

These sentences are intriguing as it insinuates that someone emailed H the files.

Who sent them? And why? Someone he confided in that he wanted out of his current hell? And so they facilitated the assimilation of the info sent it to him?

And there are many types of files on there...financial, legal, Hunter's own, and I don't know what else

Just thinking...
