Do we have an ability to talk to the people of Russia? The idea sparked in my head if Russia is commiting war crimes in Ukraine and if they don't stop additional sanctions will be hit towards Russia, what I'd that spin actually is Russia is cutting the US off the longer the war goes on. A news outlet was explaining the other day that we don't like to do sanctions because sanctions hurt US too, but just was wondering if that is what's really happening since it's a potential option.

No, not really. Because if the public had the ability to have uncensored, direct, and unlimited communications with the peoples of foreign nations, then the people could get truth directly from the source. Big Brother doesn't want that.
Instead, Big Brother made a bureaucracy named the FCC, and some rules, regulations, and laws to limit our communications, and infringe on our first amendment (freedom of speech) rights.
Show me a politician who wants to abolish, or severely limit the FCC, and open up our public communications spectrum (channels; frequencies) and I will show you a politician worth standing behind.
That explains a lot. Even when I try to go on Omegle when I get find a person who isn't just trying to get nudes I tend to get someone from India and they are always military people in their early 20s don't like me asking questions lol
