I researched modern astronomy and astrophysics for autistic funsies and there's not one single paragraph there about the sun being the center of the universe, quite the opposite, it's quite the point of it to show you how small our existance is compared to the scale of the cosmic events described from their observations and their data.

Also, if you want to know where sun worship has infiltrated and remains present most of our current organized religions, I strongly reccomend you start reading into something called gnosis.
