I had a really bad episode of sleep paralysis last night and it felt demonic in nature. It happens to me once or twice every year it seems. As darkness starts to settle in for the night, I’m getting scared to go to sleep in a little while. If you’re reading this can you pray for me? Thank you

I used to have sleep paralysis every night after coming home from Qigong class (meditation, breathing, yoga-like exercise). I think it would open my mind up too much and something demonic or otherworldly would take advantage of it. I stopped going to the class and only got it occasionally after that. It ultimately stopped after a DIY demon exorcism in my bedroom. Instead of dreading nighttime I decided to get angry and shouted at whatever entity was harassing me to GTFO. Eerily, my mirror fell off the wall, but it worked! Perhaps it was all psychological and the mirror falling down was a mere coincidence, but I never had sleep paralysis again and it's been 9 or 10 years. I implore you to give it a try. Good luck!
Yeah, whenever it happens I feel guilty bc I probably did something to bring it on myself. Then I think about any bad things I’ve done recently that could have caused it and then feel like crap. I will give it a try. Thank you!
Whoah now. Don't be letting it get In your head like that. They only attack things that are a threat. Combat 101. They aren't wasting time screwing with you if your doing thier job for them.
thank you, that does make me feel better. I know we "all fall short" but i'm a little hard on myself about it at times. I feel like I try hard to do a lot of good, but I also know I have habits/tendencies that are completely opposite of biblical. I know we are all like that though and God knows we are weak
Go back to those classes, they were working to show you the greater non physical dimensions, just don't be afraid.
That is terrifying. When I was like 14 and learned about lucid dreams, I gave myself sleep paralysis trying to induce lucid dreams. I never tried it again, but the way to go about it was to have your body “fall asleep” while keeping your brain awake, which meant laying still through the itches and uncomfortableness but “staying awake”.
Anyways, fast forward to the last couple years, and I was depressed for quite a few months, and during that time I’d fall asleep in the afternoons and would wake up around 9-10PM, even though my bedtime WAS 11PM. So when I’d try to fall asleep at night, I’d end up with sleep paralysis almost every night. Luckily for me, I never saw anything remotely demonic, but basically having to force wake myself up from within my dream while “paralyzed” was terrifying on its own. I remember one of my last episodes, I couldnt wake myself up the way I usually did, so I jumped out of my bed and as soon as I hit the floor, I woke up, face up on my bed as if nothing had happened. Worst part is that if you try to brush it off and go back to sleep, you can feel the nightmare overtake you again.
I've heard yoga is about channeling demons so that could be what was happening. That's why the 666/A OK hand sign is common with yoga.
