I had a really bad episode of sleep paralysis last night and it felt demonic in nature. It happens to me once or twice every year it seems. As darkness starts to settle in for the night, I’m getting scared to go to sleep in a little while. If you’re reading this can you pray for me? Thank you

Do you sleep on your left side?
Or when you have these dreams are you on your left side?
I have nightmares sometimes when I fall asleep on my left side, never on my right side though.
It has something to do with the stomach from what I remember reading a long time ago.
But I've also had sleep paralysis many times when I was a kid/teen. Usually it would just be the typical hag dreams. Some were demonic.
I've been spiritually aware since I was 5 and have had very vivid dreams that are still as if they just happened.
One dream was an 8' figure of darkness that stood in the corner of my room and said to me, "You're not going to make it."
I couldn't move or speak until I realized that saying "let me go in the name of Jesus!". Saying it in my mind at first (in the dream) then finally I was able to say it aloud with me adding "I the name of Jesus you're wrong!". It then left.
Thats the most demonic presence I've felt while sleeping.
The word of God is your sword
That is so terrifying. I don’t think anything has ever spoken to me thank goodness! I would really flip out. Last night when it happened, I was on my right side
You don’t even know the terrifying scenarios I can relate after 55 years of this- and as I said my oldest granddaughter is also plagued— at least I talk to her and can relate— very helpful and dogs are in the house My younger granddaughter was afraid to go outside alone to swing on her swing set a couple of years ago because she “ heard noises “ I told her — Annie ( blue heeler dog) is with you and if anything is at all dangerous to you Annie will bark - that’s what dogs are for and why they are GOD spelled backwards
Do you think maybe it is genetic in some way? I thought I was the only one who had it, but then talked to my dad and he had it occasionally too. My mom never did though. I have a little boston terrier name nora hahaha I feel like her cuteness alone could ward off a demon if thats what it is
