a colleague of mine was going on extended vacation and asked if i would take on her trans patient who was at the now I have breasts stage.
She had a lot of respect for me and knew I worked with just about anyone unless they were an abuser (all kinds). I declined as it was an area I had any knowledge in treating.
She quit talking to me. Like in the forever I'm ghosting you way. Yea, okay.
am i the only one who hears if i don't get what i want, i'll kill myself --when she says this?
who decided this was best practice? certainly not the majority of doctors. they know what the hormones do long term.
Actually, a lot of professional doctors associations are on board with trans stuff,
Which, i believe they did, to try and help make trans more credible,
But what they really did was to be-clown themselves

she was probably going on an extended vacation, as an excuse to get away from her needy patient.
