Searching the callsign on http://www.arrl.org/advanced-call-sign-search gives the following name:

HARMAN, RICHARD D, W9GFO

He's in the State of Washington and previously had a callsign more in line with his area, KD7DPY.

You'd think they wouldn't use a real person's callsign in a movie.

FYI, there's a radio magazine called CQ.
