For big hunting knives or weapons they wanna scan your id in the uk, but for kitchen knives they will only ask young looking ppl for id to see theyre 18+ to buy, adults can buy kitchen knives easily in uk no id

But they are regulated, which is insane. It's like here where there is no gun registry because REEEEE!!! but you have to give your whole history and a pair of dirty skivvies to buy a gun. If you think they don't track that...
