How in the world would someone start pumping gas and miss the lack of feel/vibration of the flow of fuel passing through the hose and nozzle? Everyday I am amazed how oblivious the average person is.
My cousin is about the same age, but she grew up in Southern Oregon. The first time she drove on CA, she was at a loss initially because in OR, they still pump gas for you.

I'm a little bit your senior and yes, I would agree. I meet some 30 year olds with awareness, but 20 year olds might as well be zombies.
