I read through some comments and it seems people missed the more likely point of Musk's tweet. It's a known fact that bots have been used before to boost the number of followers. This is more likely supposed to be a reminder that these people are not as popular as they want the world to believe. It's another instance of the liberal minority being artificially boosted to appears as if they could be the majority
