If you don't assume the merger is planned between truth social and twitter, then if Elon was to restore twitter as premiere public forum with free speech it would hurt truth social and the others start ups slated to take its place. It seems like any reference to truth social is more reading into it than specifically intended.

Maybe this is the point? Maybe just the threat of a TS in a "beta" phase is pushing the DS to use their Elon card to appear to "clean" twitter? Was this planned for?
