Important post for pedes with kids on on fence about standard vaccines. I found this out out digging
So we know cdc guidelines for children vaccines are BS. Dont go by cdc guidelines for vaccines instead go by what your local schools recommend.
CDC wants like 70 something shots by the time your child is 18.

My local states school only needs around 12 of them. They are the same I got when I was a child. Polio, chickenpox, MMR, etc.
No flu vaccines even on my public school list. Not saying to have your kid go to public school but use this to tell your doctor you are following these guidelines not cdc.
I was on fence with MMR. If you need to get it I'd get it standalone. The mixing of vaccines with MMR I read is what screws you up. Also getting it too young.
MMR is 3 vaccines in one given at 18 months of age. There are lots of heartbreaking videos of children who are happy and playful and interactive just before the MMR vax, and then they become uncommunicative, expressionless, withdrawn, etc., within days after the MMR vax. In the 70s the rate of Autistic children was on the order of 1/1000, but now we are being warned that the numbers will approach 50% in the next few years. Why? Now the CDC recommends about 70 shots for toddlers. Hmmm, is there a causation here?
2 MMR shots, not 3 are needed for public school and second not until older.
Yes, we agree. MMR = Mumps, Measles, Rubella. 3 separate vaccines in 1, and a booster required.
