Passover starts tomorrow night.
Do your homework on Easter. It's not what you think.
Would u care to expand on your thoughts fren
I understand u/6daysandrest reply. It is true that Easter has been mentioned once in KJV. Herod stated that it would be bad if they arrested/took Peter the apostle before Easter (a pagan day) in the book of Acts- which is why they brought out Peter for his "crimes" after Easter because to do it before would possibly ruin the party by having their partygoers mentioning Peter the whole way. That gives us a clue. Easter has always been a pagan day. It is believed that we should worship "SAT" urday instead of "SUN" day. The Hebrews did this correctly by observing Sabbath from Friday sundown into Saturday sundown. Not an expert in this, just know it in the back of my head.
This was a post meant to praise Christ as our Lord and savior and king, yet we are busy discussion issues that really dont do anything positive. Let's just shout from the roof top Christ is KING
If you guys wanna have a discussion about that stuff let's start a discussion at c/christianity
My bad- it should be as that. Brings a more rambling conversation into a simple post. God Bless!
It's not complicated. Where in the Bible is easter estbalished as a holy day? Where is Passover done away with?
How much of modern doctrine comes from Rome in the 3rd century when Constantine banged the Christians and Pagans together?
Look up pagan origins for christmas and easter.
I'm confused what this has to do with the OP. Why are we bringing a history lesson into it, this was just a post about publicly declaring Christ our lord and savior and King.
Remember that what you confess with your mouth must align with your actions. Who do you serve by keeping a pagan holiday? What has God commanded? What should you be doing?
Answer these questions and you might start to understand, but do it with scripture and not with your own reasoning.
