I was listening to Dr. Ardis' theory that Covid was created by synthesized snake venom, presumably by the evil "scientists" at Gilead Sciences, biopharmaceutical company in California. The name Gilead rang a bell...Atwood's dystopian novel The Handmaid's Tale took place in the fictional Republic of Gilead (Atwood is a scholar, who does her homework). I did some biblical sleuthing.
The land of Gilead was home to Amorites at one time, AKA Canaanites, who worshipped Baal (possibly the ancestors of present day Khazarian mafia). I found a passage in Hosea 6:8 "Gilead is a city of evildoers, stained with footprints of blood."

Balm of Gilead was an ancient remedy in Biblical times, made from the sap of a spruce tree. It was also a perfume, and you can get it in various forms to this day. It is mentioned several times, in Genesis in connection with "Ishmaelites," who would have come from Arabia, where Ishmael was taken, so they may have been passing traders, not citizens of Gilead. In Joshua there is a famous line, "Is there no balm in Gilead?" Religiously there seem two ways to look at it, it wasn't the cure for everything that Christ was; or the opposite, Christ was the figurative balm of Gilead, i.e. the panacea that the spruce sap was supposed to be. Amorites showed up in about 2400 BC and were finally ousted by Solomon.
