I used to be reliant on docs for pain management too after a car accident but then started using DMSO. You can buy it on Amazon. It took time - at first it reduced the pain, now the pain is almost totally gone all the time after a few years of use. I also use ashwaganda, kava kava, and a few others. It can lengthen the time between doc visits - I know this is no direct immediate substitute for the injections. But not having to go so often, and now not at all, really simplified life.
