I think it depends on the content of the character and mental health, more than the age, but in general I do agree with the sentiment.

Just what the heII do they think they are. These guys aren’t even in touch with 95% of the people in their districts and they sure aren’t maintaining a status quo.

Fire them all in 2022

I was watching a replay of teh 1980 election coverage from NBC on youtube before the 2020 election. Low and behold Grassley won his first election that year and been in DC ever since. That's a long time, but then I look at POTATO and he's been around longer. I think at some point, folks need to go back to private life, but if there is someone I'd prefer to be in DC for 40 + years, it would be Grassley and NOT Feinstein.

It makes no sense to continue working at that age. I wonder if they have to be "in the beltway" to continue the cover up of past deeds. Although Grassley seems like one of the good guys.

72 needs to be the rule, you hit 72 and your OUT! That would take out about 40% of Congress right now.
