Not saying it should be different. I feel like that too when the cops go the extra mile to kill or apprehend a cop killer. I'm like WTF, I want the same for us all.

that is just a human nature thing....we say we want equal but cmon if our family member were killed and and we could put every cop on the force on that case, how many would be like "oh I want to be fair to everyone else"
