We're gonna find out the boards of most major companies are illegitimate people with no real rights to be there... either that or our generation will decide that. The lower class all the way to middle upper class of society will almost always make fair decisions when asked.. The 'ruling' class decisions will never stand up to any scrutiny and society is about to reorganize for lots more scrutiny everywhere.
This has been a big problem for years now. I have to vote on all of the shares the foundation I work for owns, which is a considerable amount, and one of the instructions from my boss is to vote "no" to the election of any board member who doesn't own a substantial number of shares. It's really important for a board member to have an investment in the company they help navigate.
Having done this for about a decade now I see that so many board appointees are simply people who know people, people who can grease palms, favours, and not people who have a vested interested in running a company responsibly.
Do know who Dennis Cagin is?
Just ask Hunter about serving on an illegitimate boardβ¦ In Ukraine πΊπ¦ π
Shareholding is exactly where business decisions are supposed to be made in any legit business. The company owners should make the decisions.. just like property owners should make decisions about their property. You have it backwards. The board members are supposed to represent shareholders.. and should usually be shareholders themselves.
your logic is totally flawed here.. shareholders own the business; they have every right to make the business decisions.. non-shareholders cannot make decisions for a business because they simply do not own it
