He didn't learn how to do time, he allowed time to do him and he should know better than that being a man of God. He's basically admitting that he has much weakness, maybe it was the trauma of the situation in which he was arrested. Poor fella was only trying to do what he knew was the right thing

Not sure but I think what he meant Is he under house arrest so he's basically still in jail except his body's home
