We don't need satire accounts to make the left look deranged. They've got that covered. This stuff always reminds me of this quote from Kurt Vonnegut:

“We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.”

The danger is the left doubles down on the insanity because they don't understand satire. As the NYT author demonstrates.

I think the satire is done in part to get the point out while bypassing the Twitter censors, plus its just entertaining as heck.
