I know it's been a while since I posted about this and it seemed like I was going to lose this battle, but thankfully, at least (some) common sense prevailed. The NECBL ultimately decided to do away with the booster requirement, and expand exemptions from "Medical and religious" to "Medical, religious, and other". While the league is still requiring the vaccine, and chances are most athletes are unfortunately jabbed due to the NCAA's insidious policy, the booster requirement is thankfully dead and the exemptions are broader so if kids aren't jabbed (hopefully) they can cite a vague reason why they won't get it. I have been thanked by our team's president and received an apology from the GM who admitted he was wrong and I was right about delaying informing players.
