Kinda like we boil lobsters alive and eat them.

Empathy for animals seems to be cultural, or a learned behavior, and some cultures don’t have it...

which is kinda scary, because they probably have no empathy for you either.

Yeah, I get that. I remember the first time I heard crabs being boiled alive. They all screamed. However, I don't have a pet crab or lobster. I have a 20 year old cat that I would never do that to. Empathy for animals is definitely cultural. You nailed that on the head fren.
