There’s an old Arabian horse legend that goes something like this: Praise the red horse for his speed for if you see a red horse flying than believe it for his feet don’t touch the sand when he gallops. Praise the bay horse for his courage and strength ,if you see a bay horse fall from the highest mountain and is safe then believe it for the bay horse is fortunate and strong. The white horse is the mount of kings, for on the head of the rider is a crown. The black horse is the mount of death except for the horse with 3 white socks and the right fore clear he is the most precious of the blacks.
So white horse is mount of kings. ( these are greys by the way, technically a white horse has pink skin and pale eyes).
Also:
Four white feet and a white nose,
Cut off his head and feed him to the crows.
It was believed that white feet weren't as strong/sturdy as darker-colored feet.
I’ve heard the 1 foot buy him ,2 feet try him and so on saying , but not that one. I’ll have to remember it. :) There’s no difference in white and dark coloured horn but I know lots that will steer clear of white feet and believe that. My best footed horse is actually a Perlino with white feet , his feet are as tough as nails.
