This is a bit misleading. We have to remember that the people mostly likely to have gotten the 3 shots were people who were at-risk. This is a self-selected group that includes the least healthy among us: the elderly, the very sick, the people with already present lung disease, the people who might appear outwardly healthy, but have risk factors of poor health like obesity and diabetes.

I'm open to the idea this is what the OP is implying it is, but that requires some conscious effort to statistically account for these key differences and known confounders. We'd need multivariate analysis.

As for the "excess deaths," that hasn't be attributed either. The insurance companies measure "all cause mortality." COVID lockdowns also demonstrably drove depression and drug use disorders. Both suicide and overdose death are "excess deaths." Does this fully explain the difference? I don't know because I don't have the raw numbers to compare.

I know there was DoD data released that this doctor is referencing, but I haven't seen it myself to look through it and evaluate it.

I do suspect the vaccines play a role. We know the spike protein on the virus binds the ACE2 receptor, this results in changes that promote blood clots. We see it in the disease with so-called microclots. There's no rational reason to suspect we wouldn't see it with the vaccine. But again, we need data that clearly show this, and the "excess death" data isn't broken down by cause of death.
