Thus, the United States provided the weapons, the training, the tracking and the fire solution to sink the Moskva."

Basically, u.s. military (or probably cia) flying a boeing passenger airplane nearby russian ship, shutting off its beacon for a few hours, and then identifying location of russian ship for targeting. Ukraine used the location info to fire.
Frankly, i think it's disgusting that we are abusing the humane side of a country by disguising surveillance planes as passenger planes.
Basically tempting Russia to shoot down passenger aircraft in the future.
Almost the exact same reason Germany sunk the Lusitania.
We do not have smart people in charge of our country.

To add, if Russia identified the p8 surveillance plane and shot it down, the media would cover it as russia shooting down a passenger plane.. and this is why it's disgusting the u.s is doing this
