They have already hiked the residential water rates over the past few years, about triple what they were. Guess those efforts were not enough to appease the “there’s no water!” crazies.
Southern California is basically a low water place, always has been… how did Los Angeles grow into an enormous city? Well you can watch the corruption part in the movie, Chinatown.” But really, the city and state invested it enormous resources in this thing we call “infrastructure.” Pipelines to bring water from rainy, water abundant places. Processing plants, etc.
How long has it been since California stopped investing the peoples money in infrastructure, and started using it for kickbacks , bribes, Democrat machine, and various other nonsense?
I’m not sure when all of this corruption started, would happy to hear from anyone who knows this history.
