So you're suggesting the atmosphere just has enough momentum then? Effectively you're now giving clouds and the atmosphere basically an orbital velocity. Nonetheless, traveling with this moving (physically dense) atmosphere should cost more fuel than traveling against it to cover the same distance east or west.(points on the ground are headed east)

I've used to use DirecTV. I spotted Saturn with a cheap telescope using an app on a phone with GPS. Clearly there is a functioning cosmology that we can use to our advantage. But some things just do not agree with observable science.
