Second, this movement is inhabited by people who are awake, that’s the Le Pen base, but the other 19 million are not, and they are the ones who will go with the status quo because as they know- the paycheck comes in the mail, food is on the shelves and the sun rises every day. Until those are gone they will stick the less extreme option. It also isn’t hard to see that open racism is not working to bring on the normies, and Le pen saw that which is why she distanced herself from the true far right in France.
