Is it just me or does there seem to be a lot more Teslas driving around now compared to 6 months ago.
Was driving Chicago suburbs for the last 2 days and it seemed like there was always one in view....
Also was wondering if Elon is making bank off his car company, or is it something else like investments that make him so wealthy?
I live in the Chicago suburbs as well and have seen no increase. I have though seen more used Teslas sitting at dealerships in the area that had been traded in for a regular gas vehicle. We also have a lot of charging stations that are mostly empty.
Nope.
Never buy a car that can be remote controlled to crash and burn.
Michael Hastings was enough proof of this.
Unusually large amount in SoCal.
I hate electric cars. Stick shift and old, that’s the way I like em.
Unfortunately, I have neither of those lol
Same in Los Angeles suburbs.
Elon came from a wealthy family, but he is certainly brilliant at getting outside and government financing.
I've been seeing more and more tiny three door things. Some look more like a motorcycle and some look more like a baby car. I haven't noticed more Tesla's than usual where I'm at.
My husband said Elon made most of his money from Bitcoin, and then increased it with investments. I am too lazy to double check him on that.
He’s a lucky man :) kek kek kek
I take it he's wrong then? 😂
I see them sitting at the charging stations when I drive by.
It's a cognitive bias called:
Frequency illusion, also known as the Baader–Meinhof phenomenon or frequency bias, is a cognitive bias in which, after noticing something for the first time, there is a tendency to notice it more often, leading someone to believe that it has a high frequency of occurrence.[1][2][3] It occurs when increased awareness of something creates the illusion that it is appearing more often.[4] Put plainly, the frequency illusion is when "a concept or thing you just found out about suddenly seems to pop up everywhere."[5]
Look it up.
You're apparently very susceptible. You should make note and learn from it.
