I agree completely... When she was in grade school ,she was always being bullied. I told her to tell the teachers and she did. Nothing was done. I told her to go to the principal. She did and nothing was done. I went to the school district offices. Nothing was done. So I told her the next kid that touches you, drop them. I informed the principal that I had instructed my daughter to do this and he was like you can't do that. I told him it was already done. The next kid that laid a hand on her got slammed into a brick wall by his throat. She was suspended for defending herself and I took her out to lunch and then made her do 4 hours community service folding donated clothes for the homeless. In middle school she's already slammed one boy into the lockers by his throat and most of the kids in her school stay away from her. They run their mouths at her but she knows MY rules. Hands off unless they lay hands on you. She's a good kid being taught to not take anyone's bullshit. She's also learning to be a based pede so to speak. I will take a bullet for my child but if I'm not around, she needs to know how to drop someone quickly and effectively. She also know that if she has to pull that knife, she better be ready to use it. I'm teaching her the finer points of using her knife without necessarily killing someone. Slice to the face or eyes, lung punch with the knife etc. Cheers Anon... ☕☕☕
Honestly? Part of it I think is being able to socialize with her peers. Another part is that she's adamant about not being homeschooled. She wants to be with others in her age group rather than being stuck with dad all the time. I'm raising her by myself since her mom died in 2015. Her mom and I were no longer together but my daughter and I were in MA and her mom was in FL. Long story. She's my only child. She just turned 14 April 5th and I turn 61 in 4 days. I'm quite capable of schooling her at home because I are a college gradiate. Kekek... But ultimately I want her to be happy and she seems to enjoy going to public school for the most part. She has friends and I'm trying to let her have as normal a life as can be had in this messed up world.
This is her second middle school because we moved. Her IEP should've let her stay where she was but the principal didn't care for her or myself because I told him flat out that they were to teach my daughter the necessary education to succeed in life and not their woke bs agenda. I got into it with a couple of her teachers there as well as the school nurse. Kek. This school seems more based which I'm thankful for and all her teachers as well as her assistant principal know what I expect for her and know I won't tolerate the woke garbage. Her assistant principal is also a Trump supporter and loves my let's go brandon shirt. Kekek... For some strange reason all her teachers told my daughter that they like me and think I'm a nice person. Surprised the crap out of me...
