This is a very real problem that is affecting someone in my family right now. A somewhat long explanation of his story...
In August, at one uncle's funeral, another of my uncles harassed me about whether I was getting the jab. I told him no effing way and he said he was happy to have it because now he could go out and not wear a mask (which he discovered to be BS because he found businesses still demanded it). He got the second clot shot, then a third in December.
Three weeks later, he woke up with one of his eyes red and inflamed. He went to his ophthalmologist, who said he had an infection. He got antibiotics for it. The inflammation started to fade... but so did his eyesight. He went back to the eye doc every week for over a month. The guy couldn't find what was wrong and sent him to a retina specialist, who took pictures and told him squat. He went back to his doc, after researching on the internet, and asked if it could be the shot causing it. His doc's answer? "I don't know." He asked what was in the shot (a question he should've asked before letting them shove it in his body, yeah?) and the doc had the same response: "I don't know."
My uncle is scared now because he is already practically blind in one eye (due to some weird condition he had in his thirties), so if he loses his sight in the other eye, he will be completely blind.
He recently got an appointment with a specialist at a prominent hospital/university, where they informed him he had to be there exactly at the time of his appointment or he wouldn't be allowed in. He had to wear not one but two masks and no one was allowed to go in with him. He obeyed. They took him into the building (late) then made him sit all day without the doctor seeing him. The place was closing, but he and five other patients who had an appointment with that doc that day never saw anyone. They were then told to go home and they could make another appointment. My uncle told them to go to hell, in those exact words. He said he had to drive two and a half hours to get there and obeyed their petty rules, so if they couldn't have the decency to keep their appointment, then he had no use for them.
Now, he said he wishes he'd never gotten the shot because he knows, deep down, it is what has caused the problems with his vision and he's facing the possibility of losing his sight. I haven't said much to him about it, at my mom's request, but I feel like telling him to at least try Ivermectin. Take quercitin and other natural remedies just to see if it will help. Anything would be worth it at this point. But he can't go back and redo what is done. All he can do--all anyone can do--is use this as a learning moment. Turning yourself into a freaking guinea pig for a government that wants you dead isn't worth being able to get on a plane or go to a restaurant. The worst part is that his entire immediate family got the shots, too, to keep him and his wife "safe." The irony is painful.
