Their great power is and has always been telepathic mind control. They know what you fear and lust after. Carnivorous winged serpents/ dragons. Their very survival here depends on their continued control...and it is slipping. They are "mortal". If the veil of illusion they cast falls for even a day, every one of the evil freaks are toast.
