Maybe we'll see some dirt, maybe not. It's the links between Twitter and government officials that matter the most, and once those went over the internet, they were captured for all time. The left thought they were going to cleanse the world of anyone who would care before anyone could do anything about it. Now they are trapped. Many of the Twitter employees really don't have a clue about who they were supporting, or what their utopian world was really going to look like.
I can't really argue with you on that. I recall a former coworker (worked the lobby desk I walked past for several years) spouting off on how this country would be so much better off with communism during the Obummer years. So I think they have a vision that is a whole lot worse than anything we've seen so far.
