Is it coming to terms with the corrupt political establishment?
Is it people realizing evil people have been taking over the world?
Is it US citizens realizing that the US government does not control our rights, as much as they are trying to?
Or some other rhetorical questions?
I'd like to float a couple ideas for discussion - keep things simple - concerning the brilliance of our founding fathers, and maybe some of what has been lost over time.
-
Freedom of speech - people need to wake up to the fact that freedom of speech is about a lot more being free to say what ever they want, at any time. It is also a check on evil. That should be clear by now (and I think it's part of what Q meant by the great awakening). If people aren't allowed to speak freely, and the MSM is a perfect example of what happens when freedom of speech is taken away. Part of governing ourselves is speaking freely about what we see going on around us.
-
The Right to Bear Arms - what is a Republic without the right to bear arms? It's been joked about. We've been told it's just about hunting, or maybe to throw off a corrupt government, but then we are told that imposing just a few restrictions is for our benefit and protection. And the MSM talking heads talk about how reasonable that is, and people buy into it. But I think the founding fathers had much more in mind. The right to bear arms is also the right to self defense. The right to bear arms is the right to stop evil in it's tracks. Not vigilantism, there are courts for dealing with criminals after the fact. But the ability to stop an attacker, to prevent a crime, to stop a criminal in the act of violence - That Is a Form of Self Government, and a check on evil. It's not about handing everything over to the Feds - we've seen how that works out, and maybe that's a big part of the great awakening.
So, if we are going to have a Republic, we must participate in the actions of government, which is to have law and order all around us, in our own communities. Some are called to serve in government positions, but they need to be vetted by us, and not be some name floated by the MSM. That may sound difficult, but a place like this board, and others, is the perfect place to expose the people seeking office. Everybody knows somebody, and with enough honest people participating, we should be able to vet anyone running for office. I happen to now 2 people in our state government. More importantly, I know other people who know them better than I do. So while I might not agree with everything those 2 say (who am I kidding, 99% is as good as it gets), I know they are one of us, and stand for what is right.
I don't want to ignore what is going on in the world around us as part of this movement. Far from it. I just think too many people in the US are still sleeping on their responsibilities.
This is why I try not to get into discussions about God on here because people of already made their minds up. You’ve clearly already taken up your weapons, and tried to use them against me. You have it all typed up in advance so you can try and beat it out of somebody’s head and try to beat their faith out of them.
It’s not gonna happen. I could return with a bunch of scriptures, to prove my point, but then you’ll have a bunch of your own, and you’ll get to do go back-and-forth with me. If you don’t want to believe and you want to go to hell that’s fine then do that. There’s nothing that I can do that can stop you. I’m trying to help you out.
So I will leave you in closing, read the Bible, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and secure your salvation in heaven. Other than that there’s nothing more I can do for you
God bless you and have a great day. Don’t bother to get back to me because I’m not going to read it. My faith in Jesus Christ it cannot be faltered.
Yes the store that you used has nothing to do with the persons fact that they’re a sinner or not. what they were trying to say is he blind because he sinned, And that was not the case. Actually the scripture and this story has so many different layers to it, but I’m not gonna waste my time like I said you’ve already made your mind up.
Thats it,, you figured me out.. i just sit at my computer with pre-typed shit just to get Christians in a tissy.
I have good news for you.
God did not crucify Jesus.
God did not require that Jesus be crucified.
God does not require bloodshed as a condition for forgiveness. The crucifixion of Jesus was a misreading on the part of the system, of the fact that in November and December the sun in the sky must pass near the Southern Cross constellation prior to entering the tomb of the winter solstice for three days and three nights. In other words, if the Sun of God does not go through the cross, there cannot be new life in the spring.
We have misunderstood the allegory of the cosmos. We have used middle ages mentality to scare people, and we have allowed a terrible blasphemy against God. How sick it is that we teach our children that God cannot forgive unless blood flows. How sick it is that we teach our children that God would allow his own son to be tortured to death in order to satisfy his ego. How terribly sick are our ways.
Well I guess when we both die will find out won’t wait. At least I know for sure I have Christ in my heart, if I’m wrong, then according to your doctrine, because I’m a good person I’ll be in heaven. But if you’re wrong, then you’ll be in hell. Have a great night
Nope, when we die we go on to another life. There is not a devil with a pitchfork in fire pits nor is there heaven with clouds, angels, and everything glorious. That's fairytales.
Well you have the right to your beliefs and I have the right to mine. Like I said over and over again God bless you and have a great night.
How sad you actually believe that. Your only hope is to actually come back to this world and do it all over again. What a horrible way to live your life. I can’t imagine anybody want to come back to this world and do it again. That is truly a defeatist attitude. I will continue to pray for you.
One thing I will agree with you, is that Satan, is not red, he doesn’t have a pitchfork, he doesn’t have horns, and he’s not some big ugly guy that human beings have created him to be. Yes he’s evil, and yes he wants to steal your soul, but I liken him to a tiny bookworm.
In the garden of Eden, not only was Adam and Eve cursed to live life with pain in childbirth and having to toil with the land - satan was also cursed to be on his belly for the rest of his days. If you go by biblical time approximately 6000 years, that means Satan‘s been on his belly for 6000 years. The once Cunning and attractive snake, has now been slithering around for 6000 years on his calloused worn out wrinkled miserable shell of a body.
He gladly awaits the return of our Lord, because he could know Lagerstand being on this planet where he’s faced with human beings that are made in the lightness of God on a daily basis! He’s the most miserable beings of all, because he thought he could actually be like God. Can you imagine somebody actually thinking they could be like God, or actually believe in God doesn’t exist?
I don’t imagine heaven is fluffy clouds white gowns and stuff like that either. People just make up in their minds what they think holiness looks like, and what hell would be like. It’s done in the movie so often, and I don’t think Satan is anything like that.
When we finally make it to heaven, and we get to see who Satan is and what he looks like, many people will be shocked and say to themselves… That’s Satan? That’s the enemy? He’s the one that allowed to control my mind, and potentially hard in my heart so much that I would not except Christ. People will be shocked because he nothing but a tiny little worm.
Follow the Roman road. I genuinely am praying for your salvation. God bless you and have a great day!
Follow the Romans Road ☺️ Romans Road Bible Verses Take the Romans Road journey into the loving heart of God with this collection of Bible verses written by the apostle Paul in his letter to the Romans. Step 1 Romans Road begins with the truth that everyone needs salvation because all people have sinned. No one gets a free ride, because every person is guilty before God. We all fall short of the mark. Romans 3:9-12, and 23 ...All people, whether Jews or Gentiles, are under the power of sin. As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous—not even one. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.” ... For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. (NLT) Step 2 The price (or consequence) of sin is death. The punishment we all deserve is both physical and spiritual death, thus we need God's salvation to escape the deadly, eternal consequences of our sin. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. (NLT) Step 3 Jesus Christ died for our sins. His death paid the full price for our salvation. Through the death and resurrection of God's own Son, the debt we owed was satisfied. Romans 5:8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. (NLT) Step 4 We (all sinners) receive salvation and eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. Anyone who places their trust in Jesus receives the promise of eternal life. Romans 10:9-10, and 13 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved ... For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (NLT) Step 5 Salvation through Jesus Christ brings us into a relationship of peace with God. When we accept God's gift, we have the reward of knowing we'll never be condemned for our sins. Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. (NLT) Romans 8:1 So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. (NLT) Romans 8:38-39 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. (NLT) Responding to Romans Road If you believe Romans Road leads to the path of truth, you can respond by receiving God's wonderful gift of salvation today. Here's how to take your personal journey down Romans Road: Admit you are a sinner. Understand that as a sinner, you deserve death. Believe Jesus Christ died on the cross to save you from sin and death. Repent by turning from your old life of sin to a new life in Christ. Receive, through faith in Jesus Christ, God's free gift of salvation. https://www.learnreligions.com/what-is-romans-road-700503
