Unfortunately, they can still get away with this. Just look at pseudoephedrine and how regulated that is. pseudoephedrine should be otc, but you have to do the same thing and prove to the pharmacist you need it, and then its tracked and your limited to purchasing basically at most a 2 week supply at any given time... meaning to stay allergy free during allergy season is a good 1-2 hour wait every 2 weeks at the pharmacy just to get them.
