No one cares if "partners" execute a document to give each other powers of attorney, or civil unions.

It is an abomination to call it marriage, however.

Words have meaning, despite all the torturous re-definitions of the left imposing tyranny on the rest of us.

MARRIAGE is the union of the one man and the one woman. Live your life as you please, no one is stopping you, but you have NO RIGHT to impose your life-style on the rest of us by murdering the language.
