Stonecutting tools built pyramids, cities, and infrastructure to help the rulers to control the masses. Masons built that., but they were still slaves to the rulers.

Possible analogy: Masons built the tools, and infrastructure of modern society to allow our modern rulers to control the masses. But they are still slaves. Fail.
