Do some research on thiamine deficiency. Apparently it's common in alcoholism. Not a medical expert, but I think you'll want to take a B complex. Just make sure you take the complex in the morning or it will keep you from sleeping. If that happens, take the complex every two or three days and the extra thiamine every day. Maybe your research will yield a specific protocol for this.
