You should dig a little bit deeper into the Bible brother. Jesus Christ is the King, currently sitting at the right hand of God the Father, waiting for all things to be placed under his feet. You are correct, that his church, the body of Christ, will return with him. But we have to be taken out of this world first.
We will be taken up and transformed from corruptible into incorruptible. At that moment we who are alive will be caught up after the dead raises out of the grave in their spirit body. This happened before. John on the isle of Patmos. Paul on the road to Damascus. And Ezekiel Study to shew thyself approved, rightly dividing the word of truth. A workman needs th not be ashamed. See the problem with taking another’s word for something and not studying it for yourself is that antichrists write reference bibles, like scofeild, and they put lies in them.

Just after this happens the sun and moon will be darkened. There is nothing in scripture that says the elect will escape tribulation or persecution. There is no pre tribulation rapture. It is a false doctrine promoted by c.I. Scofeild and came up with by John Darby. It is a farce. We will be caught up after the tribulation of these days. This is an exact quote from the Bible.
