Perfectly sensible. I was shocked to learn from an Oxford college lecturer that the main reasons for students failing exams was: breaking up with boy/girl friend; family bereavement and abortions. Seeing how shocked I was by the last reason, she said that some had as many as 3-4 in a 3 year period. That was 35 years ago, I doubt its got better.
