Taxpayers fund PP to the tune of $500,000,000 every year. This was by Congressional vote, not voters vote. This is money that could improve the lives of our military-housing and health care; work on cleaning up homeless encampments; drug prevention and rehab. Also use money funneled to Ukraine, given to illegals, spent on countless useless projects and you have plenty for our brave military, homeless, children in need. I am all for helping those who help themselves, but our impoverished need to have strings attached. We can’t keep giving laptops to inner city children only for them to destroy on a lark because they know their families won’t be made to pay it back, nor can we continue with subsidized housing in places that are destroyed. These are complex issues, but we can’t continue to give without expecting something in return.
