I'm not from the US bit thought it was interesting, two military services having a recruiting war.

They will literally steal recruits from one another lol. Someone who is already in talks with one service, but is talked to by another branch recruiter and ends up starting, finishing, and signing off with MEPS (Military Enlistment Processing Center) with that branch before the former branch is able to start & finish packet and is aware that they lost a recruit.
