Before there was commercial baby formula mothers either breastfed or made their own formula. The info is out there, and the stuff is easy to make. Are people this brain dead that they can't come up with an alternative?
You are exactly right. We have become so dependent on convenient that when these shortages happen they panic. I'm 70 yo and remember my mom making formula from canned milk.
I even remember there was no dish washing liquid.... we used laundry soaps like Wisk. We made our own toothpaste and deodorant. Pampers werent invented yet.
Make your own formula, more nutritious, less expensive.
Not only dependent on convenience, but apparently unable to think. With information so readily available, I can't fathom how there is a shortage, when it's so easily made.
Yep. Someone posted a brown rice formula made from brown rice, water, avocado or coconut oil, and molasses. Cheap, more nutritious, dairy free for those whose babies have issues with dairy/soy.
