Unrelated to your point, but Hollywood isn't a bastardization of 'holy wood' but rather a reference to a magic wand, that apparently was typically made from the wood of a holly tree.

I think it is the rather new hyper-realistic "ART" they are doing with techniques taken from unHOLYWOOD.
