True to a point, but the article I cited said that several mini's simply broke down while putting them through field tests. And I still find the AR easier to disassemble, but to each his own.
Decades ago there were some problems with the Mini in manufacturing for a brief period of time. Check out the AR forums and you will find that the MIni is the one item people lament the most ever letting go of over the years.
Mine is stainless steel, factory installed folding stock, and beautiful woot furniture, and I'm not letting go of it.

I didn't see where the Mini 14 was even present. The M14 and the Mini 14 are completely different designs.
