There are many studies of identical twins raised apart that exhibit the same behaviors. Heritabilitly of IQ, impulse control, and many other mental capacities outweighs any effect nurture may have (probably very small).

I think pure evil is created through manipulation of power hungry people.

These power hungry people breed other types of evil during their quest of total power over other.
