The alien card has always been their biggest and right now the consensus is "we have to use it here, or lose everything." Of course, since they are nervous and rushed, expect a lot of bumbiling and miscommunication on the alien rollout and a good dose of "we cannot show you the aliens, but trust us, you need us to protect you from them and the aliens also want you to quit posting on the internet about us. They agree it is mean and uncalled for."
