The test itself is not dangerous, but allowing yourself to be tested with it opens up a whole can of shit you don't want to be a part of. If your work makes you take the test, and you're positive, then they'll try to restrict your rights in a way that employers should not. If they make you stay home upon a positive test, make sure they're paying for it, not out of your sick time. This test wasn't your idea, remember.
My friend's wife works at a corporation, in which the non-vaxxed are to be tested weekly. All new hires are to be fully vaxxed, and any new jobs withing the corporation means being fully vaxxed. This is now a permanent policy.
If it's a blood test the test itself is not harmful but the reagent or buffer solution may be. Depends whose test it is re: mfg and what buffer they use
