The AstraZeneca vaccine uses a chimpanzee adenovirus - could it have been a source for this? As far as I’m aware you don’t purify these things perfectly. Polio vaccines in the past did have problems with SV40 contamination.

We know there were issues caught in at least one plant with the other viral vector vaccine.
Could be no connection of course - could be travel related & there is a suggestion that it’s an STD, but still.
If there is an outbreak - turns out the FDA approved a monkeypox vaccine in 2019 🤡

Monkey pox is not that dangerous I remember there were also cases pre COVID in the US I remember we were talking about it on the old forum who’s name escapes me(vote?)
